With Headquarters at its Central Distribution Centre in Denver, a suburb of Johannesburg in Gauteng, the company owns 196 of its own retail branches and has 32 member-owned branches. Autozone sources and procures from in excess of 600 suppliers both in South Africa and internationally, with more than 75.000 active SKUs.
The company is recognised in the industry as a significant supplier to trade customers, workshops, consumers as well as independent retailers. Autozone has an excellent presence in national accounts too, holding corporate and government contracts.
Apart from South Africa, the Autozone is also active in Namibia, with 3 of its own stores, as well as Swaziland and Botswana through its member owned stores. All owned branches are supported by a well-developed IT, efficient supply chain as well as merchandising and support services.
