Aftermarket Trade Fair: Strategic move of Shenzhen Automotive Aftermarket Event huge success

Tarsus Group and Guangzhou Jiuzhou Tarsus Exhibition Co., Ltd are pleased to announce the success of the 11th Automotive Aftermarket and Tuning Trade Fair (AAITF) Shenzhen. Held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, 16-18th January 2015, the annual exhibition saw an increase in visitor and exhibitor attendance confirming the strength of the show and the new established venue and location.
The success of the move was demonstrated by the increased visitor and exhibitor attendance. Across 10 halls and covering 105,000 square meters, the Automotive Aftermarket exhibition attracted more than 3,500 mainstream brand exhibitors covering the full range of products in the industry. A record number of trade visitors included buyers from 159 auto factories, 673 4S shop groups, 8,000 4S shops, 5,000 provincial agents, 80,000 retail terminals, 20,000 e-commerce suppliers, 135 car clubs, 60,000 local car owners and 4,500 overseas buyers.

New for 2015, the exhibition featured the ‘Global Innovation Hub’ which focussed on the latest and most innovative trends, products and concepts available globally in the Automotive Aftermarket. Pioneering seminars on 3D printing from Xuberance 3D Design LLC and Shenzhen Dazzle Laser Forming Technology Co. Ltd. were at full capacity, as were talks from RealVNC, ITW and Connects2.

Peter Massey, Project Director for AAITF International Development commented: “Shenzhen is a worldwide hub for electronics, and is the 4th busiest port globally. Huge international high tech brands such as Foxconn, Apple, MSI Electronics, Bombardier Transportation, IBM, Intel, Siemens, Samsung, Hitachi and Shenzhen Electronics Group have facilities located there. Electronics, audio visual technology and connectivity are critical areas for growth and innovation in the automotive aftermarket industry, and our strategic move to Shenzhen has meant that we can now leverage AAITF’s location to re-enforce the show’s position as the leading international platform for cutting edge aftermarket technologies and solutions. This thought leadership will in turn mean that AAITF can present fresh ideas and aftermarket modification technologies to buyers attending our sister AAITF shows in Istanbul, Bangkok, Mexico City and Jakarta”. The next show in the automotive aftermarket portfolio of events, AAITF Istanbul, will take place 11-13th June 2015 at the ICEC, Istanbul (www.aaitf.com).
